At Almondsbury Garden Centre we have a number of exciting weekend events to tickle your taste buds, inspire your creative juices or simply give you some great Christmas gift ideas!
From 15th to 16th November come and “mull” over some drinks with us. Sample and decide which mulled beverage you prefer, from the more traditional mulled wines and ciders, to some surprising mulls that you may not have previously tried. It’s a great way to chase away those winter chills.
Do you love everything chocolate? Yes, then come and join us on 23rd or 24th November. Instore we will have Willies Cacao company, who will be giving us a journey around South America’s top chocolate producing countries. Test your palate with some different flavours from the different regions and with the 1st December looming it’s also a great time to purchase your chocolate advent calendars too!
Time to tantalise your taste buds, Foodie Weekend will be running 30th November to 1st December! Cottage Delight will be in store showcasing many of their products, from ciders and beers to a wide range of delicious preserves and treats, which will all be available for you to sample. This is a great opportunity to get a fantastic deal on hampers and fabulous gifts for your friends and families or maybe something new to take home to add to your very own Christmas pantry. This weekend will also see the opening of our magical Christmas Grotto, so why not pay Santa a visit whilst you are here, but don’t forget to book in advance to avoid disappointment!
Why not get your creative juices flowing and enjoy getting into the festive mood by designing your own beautiful wreath to decorate your front door. Running over the weekend of 7th and 8th December, join our experts, who will be inspiring you with ways to decorate either a real or artificial wreath. We have everything that you will need to make a beautiful creation. In addition, the award winning English Whisky Company will also be in store, so that you can sample their wears and banish those winter chills, keeping you warm whilst you decorate!
If gin is your thing, then you definitely want to join us on the 14th or 15th December. The 6 O’Clock Gin company are coming in for a gin sampling weekend. Although, they will be making the most amazing gin and tonics for you to try, they will also be providing you with some interesting twists on the classic and even some new ways to try your gin. So, come on in for some festive cheer and great deals on all things gin.
On the last weekend before Christmas, 21st-22nd December, we have our last minute gift ideas weekend. If you find yourself doing your Christmas shopping at the last minute, as let’s face it, many of us do, or need a few extra stocking fillers, then just pay us a visit. We will be brimming with fabulous gift ideas, from all of our departments. Ranging from the plant and gardening gifts, items for the eco warriors out there, to children’s books and gifts or even beautiful items for house and home, we have it covered – literally, as we will also stock a wide selection of wrapping paper and cards! We really are a one stop shop for everything Christmas!
It goes without saying that on these fabulous weekend events, we will also have lots of fantastic deals and offers to help the Christmas kitty go that much further.
